By accessing or using RankWriting ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

RankWriting is an AI-powered content generation platform that helps users automatically create and publish SEO-friendly blog articles to their WordPress websites. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content based on user-provided inputs such as keywords, topics, and industry context.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

RankWriting offers the following subscription plans:

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and processed via Stripe. Article quotas reset at the beginning of each billing cycle for Starter and Pro plans. The Free plan has a lifetime quota that does not reset. Unused articles do not roll over to the next month.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan. We do not offer refunds for partial months or unused article quotas. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us within 14 days of the charge.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or fraudulent
• Produce spam, misleading content, or content designed to manipulate search engines in bad faith
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service for generating content that promotes hate, violence, or illegal activity

7. AI-Generated Content

RankWriting uses AI to generate content on your behalf. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. You are responsible for reviewing content before publishing.
• You own the content generated through the Service and published to your WordPress site.
• You are solely responsible for the content published on your website and any consequences thereof.
• We do not guarantee specific SEO results from using the Service.

8. WordPress Integration

By connecting your WordPress site, you authorize RankWriting to publish content to your site on your behalf using the credentials you provide. You are responsible for maintaining secure WordPress application passwords and for the content published through our Service. We recommend using a dedicated WordPress user with Editor permissions rather than an Administrator account.

9. Intellectual Property

The RankWriting platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and branding, is owned by RankWriting and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission. Content you generate through the Service is yours; we claim no ownership over it.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated content accuracy is not guaranteed. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankWriting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to formal legal proceedings.
