RankWriting can automatically find and insert images and videos into your articles — no manual work required.
Cover image
Set Cover Image Source to Pexels in your generation settings and the system will:
- ·Use the AI to generate a targeted search query based on your article topic
- ·Search Pexels for a high-quality, relevant image
- ·Insert it as the featured image with SEO-optimized ALT text
You can also choose None (no cover image) or Custom (upload your own).
Inline images
Set an Inline Image Count (0–5). The AI will:
- ·Analyze the article's section headings
- ·Decide the best H2 positions to insert images
- ·Generate a specific search query and ALT text for each image
- ·Insert them as
<figure>HTML blocks within the article body
YouTube embeds
Set a YouTube Count (0–3). The AI searches for videos matching your article topic and embeds them. You can filter by language and video duration.
Copyright & licensing
All Pexels images are licensed under the Pexels License, which permits free commercial use without attribution (though attribution is appreciated). RankWriting never generates copyright-protected images.
Tips
- ·For full control, set Cover Image to None and assign your featured image manually in WordPress
- ·For specialized industries (medical, legal, etc.), custom images typically outperform stock photos
