Connect Shopify
RankWriting supports publishing articles directly to your Shopify Blog via the Shopify Admin API — no app installation required.
How it works
RankWriting uses the write_content scope of the Shopify Admin API to create posts in your chosen Blog. The connection is established through OAuth, so no passwords are stored.
Connect your store
- ·Go to RankWriting Dashboard → Sites → Add site
- ·Select Shopify as the platform
- ·Enter your Shopify store domain (e.g.
your-store.myshopify.com) - ·Follow the OAuth authorization prompts
Once authorized, your store will appear in the Sites list with a Connected status.
Publishing to Shopify
When publishing, you can select the target Blog (e.g. "News", "Tips"). Articles can be published immediately or saved as a draft, with support for tags and SEO Meta fields.
Notes
- ·Shopify Basic plan and above are supported
- ·Store admin permissions are required to complete the OAuth flow
- ·Published articles appear under Online Store → Blog Posts in your Shopify admin
