What data we collect
- ·Account information — Email address and name (managed by Clerk)
- ·Usage data — Generated article records and quota usage
- ·Site information — URLs of connected WordPress and Shopify sites
- ·Content — Keywords you enter and articles generated from them
What we don't collect
- ·WordPress passwords or admin credentials
- ·Visitor data from your website
- ·Payment card information (handled entirely by Stripe — we never see it)
Content ownership
All content you generate on RankWriting belongs to you. We make no copyright claims and will never use your content for:
- ·AI model training
- ·Content redistribution
- ·Sharing with third parties
Data retention
- ·Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account
- ·After account deletion, data is purged from backups within 30 days
- ·You can request a data export or deletion at any time from your account settings
GDPR compliance
RankWriting complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- ·Processing is based on contractual necessity or legitimate interest
- ·We obtain clear consent before processing data
- ·Data access and deletion requests are honored
- ·Processing activities are documented
